' Turtles All The Way Down ' is about a girl, Aza Holmes, suffering from OCD, trying to become a good friend, good daughter, and an overall good person. She also becomes involved in a mysterious case about the billionaire Russell Pickett who has vanished without a trace. Along with her best friend, she sets out to find the truth and get the hundred thousand dollars reward. It leads them to Davis Pickett, a sometime friend of Aza's who might have the clues they need. But when her compulsive thought spirals get an even tighter hold on her mind, she struggles to keep her life from falling apart.
The way it describes the thoughts of a person suffering from a mental disorder is sheer excellence. It gives you an unsettling and uncomfortable feeling. It presents life from another perspective. It is difficult to predict how it would end. And, the book ends in such a way only where it can't be said if it really is the end. It is a book that one should definitely read in their lifetime.
