Hey! I'm back with another blog. I was unable to write for a few weeks since my board exams are coming and I'm preparing for them. It's been strenuous to take out time for blogging. But I finally decided to analyze how I was feeling and write it down in my blog.
And these are the words I'll use to describe my feelings. Exhausted. Dull. Bored.
I cannot take out time to do the things I love. All I am doing is preparing for my forthcoming exams which, I have been doing for a long time. I've read the textbooks a dozen times. I feel I am all prepared and, no matter how much I try, I cannot push my brain to read the same text again and again with the same attention span. Also, my best friend is not coming to school, so it's pretty boring sometimes.
That's when I decided to blog to refresh my mind.
While writing this, I realized that it wasn't that I didn't have extra time but, I was reluctant to put it into unproductive work. I was supposed to study hard for the exams, so that's what I did. I didn't want to waste my time doing other things when I should focus on exams.
I don't know if you all feel the same too sometimes. But I think we all can agree that we can't be productive all the time. And sometimes, doing things that we believe are unproductive is actually fruitful. They help you stay productive and energized and save you from mentally exhausting yourself. It does no good to do more than what your body is capable of handling. You don't have to constantly push yourself and tire yourself out to achieve what you want. Sometimes it's necessary to take a break and recharge yourself. In this way, you keep a check on your physical and mental well-being.
I also feel a little better with this small break I took to write this blog. As the saying goes," It's okay to take a break but it's not okay to quit." Keep working hard in the right direction, and remember to take breaks in between to animate yourself to move ahead.
Now, what are you waiting for? Go take a break.
